I think I'll just stick with my OG XL. Performance doesn't mean shit if the thing is gonna break in a few days, which both of my 2DS XLs did. I say both because the return unit broke too.
The only actual difference is the noticeable lag in the battle tower. And even then, it really isn't a big deal because the lag is only there for relatively short periods of time. If you can't handle a second longer loading times, I don't know what to say

The main issue is Ninty brings out these enhanced versions and the devs mostly ignore the extra power. New 3DS version could have used Anti Aliasing and cleaned up the horrible jagged world so it actually looked decent. But no, they don't bother doing anything so all you get is a more steady framerate in 4 creature battles.

I still have the og 3ds. I don't mind the lag. I just enjoy the game. I don't want to to get the new 3ds because I already have a 3ds and is just a waste of money

the battle royale is sooooo laggy that nintendo might have tought to make it a new 3ds only game

I only own a 3ds XL. When I was playing Moon, I've experienced lags on double battles, totems, when the camera rotates during battles and occasionally when walking. Then I compared with Alpha Sapphire and oh god so smooth…lol
Now it really sucks to play Moon now that I'm used to AS framerates
i recently bought the new 3ds xl (i have the old xl version) and I noticed that the new 3ds xl is more pixilated than the old xl.. i bought the m.d.e version its like the asian veraion or middle east.. could that be the reason why the new 3ds has larger pixels than the old xl??
